Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hosted a special guest for Thanksgiving, and she…

This year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will celebrate Christmas in the United States with their children and Meghan’s mother. These two often choose to celebrate these occasions at home with close friends and family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex once hosted a special guest for Thanksgiving, Meghan Markle told Marie Claire magazine on Friday.

According to the New York Post, the Suits actress and her husband once hosted a special guest, leading feminist Gloria Steinem, for Thanksgiving.

“Like many of us, I think you always make sure there’s room at the table for your friends who don’t have families, and that’s really important,” Meghan Markle was quoted as saying by the New York Pot.

“A Humble Thanksgiving Party”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle like to keep most parties simple and sweet. The former actress admitted that her Thanksgiving meals are “always pretty low-key.” She also added that at the party, “being close to mom is great.”

The Duchess of Sussex also revealed that holidays with her children have become more fun as they get older. “I love the holidays,” Meghan Markle told the publication, adding that during the holidays she always tries to do something good and fun with her family. Since Lilibet and Archie are now three and five years old, she is even more interested in spending holidays in beautiful places.

Sharing her excitement to see her children grow up, Megan said: “I think as a mom with kids you just love having them around, but they don’t understand everything that’s going on yet. But we’re at an age now where I just can’t wait to see it through their lens every year.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will celebrate Christmas away from their family in the UK this year. According to media reports, they did not receive any invitation from the royal family for Christmas. However, the Sussexes were reportedly invited to the festival at Althorp House, the childhood home of his late mother, Princess Diana.
