Thrustmaster Heart Controller Review: A Competent Hall Effect Gamepad That Doesn’t Stand Out in the Competition

Thrustmaster Heart: One Minute Review

The Oregon-based hardware specialist is positioning the Thrustmaster Heart as a high-performance, entry-level controller for Xbox consoles and PCs. But “entry level” is more of a half-truth. It is, of course, very simple and straightforward, but it comes at a fairly high price, which somewhat betrays this description.

That’s not to say the Thrustmaster Heart isn’t necessarily a controller to avoid; There really is a lot to like about this. From the comfortable Hall effect joysticks and tactile buttons to the beautiful black and white aesthetics with the LED lighting strip, this could be one of the best PC controllers for you, or the best Xbox controller if you’re looking for a simple gamepad. it’s head and shoulders above the standard Xbox wireless controller.
