DoF Recognized by CCAP for Supporting Growth and Competitiveness of the PH IT-BPM Industry

The Department of Finance (DOF) has been honored by the Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) for its continued support in the development of the information technology and business process management (IT-BPM) industry in the country.

On November 18, 2024, CCAP presented DOF with a plaque as part of its “Philippines: The Heart of CX” campaign, which highlights the country’s leadership in customer experience through innovation, talent development, and digital transformation. This recognition highlights the joint efforts of CCAP and government agencies to strengthen the Philippines’ position in the global IT-BPM sector.

Undersecretary Renato Reside Jr. received the award on behalf of the U.S. Department of Defense, thanking CCAP for its contributions to the industry. He praised the organization for promoting employment, enhancing national capacity in digitalization and responsible integration of artificial intelligence in the sector.

“DOF is proud to support the IT-BPM industry, a cornerstone of the Philippine economy. Together, we can further enhance the country’s global competitiveness,” Reside said.

Key participants included NTRC Executive Director Mark Aure, CCAP President Mickey Ocampo and Marketing Council Chair Mae Dizon.
