UNLV men’s and women’s diving teams will compete in Trojan Diving International

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men’s and women’s diving teams will return to action this weekend when they compete at the USC Trojan Diving Invitational, Friday-Sunday, November 22-24, at the Uitengsu Aquatics Center.

The competition begins on Friday with the men’s 3m and women’s 1m preliminary heats at 11am. The men’s 3m finals will begin at 12:05 and the women’s 1m finals will begin at 12:25.

Saturday’s men’s and women’s 3-meter events will begin with prelims at 11 a.m. The men’s 3m finals will begin at 12.05pm, with the women’s 3m finals following shortly at 12.25pm.

The competition will conclude on Sunday with the men’s and women’s 1m platform events, starting with the prelims at 11am, followed by the men’s 1m finals at 12.05pm and the women’s platform finals at 12.25pm.

Also competing will be divers representing hosts USC, California Baptist, Northern Colorado, UNR, Air Force and Pepperdine.

SEASON LEADERS: The Rebels are led on the women’s side by senior Vika Janowska and on the men’s side by sophomore Alex Vasquez. Yanovskaya leads the Scarlet and Gray teams on the women’s 1-meter springboard (275.18) and 3-meter springboard (301.95). Vazquez has team best scores in the men’s 1 meter (341.78) and 3 meter (392.40).
