Diablo 4 Season 7 adds a feature players have been asking for since launch

Diablo 4 finally fulfills the long-standing demand of the players in Season 7. The new season’s updates promise to make changing builds faster and easier with a feature that fans have been asking for since the game launched.

Players have been asking for the Arsenal since Diablo 4 launched in June 2023. This was a beloved Diablo 3 feature that made it easy to manage builds.

In August, CEO Rod Fergusson hinted that the Armory would open soon. He confirmed that the game will not be ready for the Vessel of Hate expansion.

It’s now official: the Season 7 PTR will bring the Armory to life, more than a year after Diablo 4’s launch.

During a fireside chat on November 21, the team revealed more details. In Season 7, the Armory will be introduced in Update 2.1, in response to an important request from the community.

This feature allows players to save, load, and name build configurations. These include skills, equipment, and ideal points. Switching between saved builds will not require spending any in-game currency.

In a live chat, community manager Adam Fletcher and game designer Charles Dunn teased: “So, if you really like your Fireball build, then you have a really great, unique fireball. Now it’s very easy to just save that Fireball build if you ever want to go back to it, and you can start crafting that Fireball build.

In fact, this sounds like every Diablo 4 player’s dream, especially if you like trying out different builds.

The mechanics of the Armory are simple. Once the equipment is saved to the loadout, it will be automatically added to your favorites. This prevents accidental sale or disposal. Players can access the Armory in all key locations, from the Sanctuary to the Tree of Whispers.

The developers emphasized convenience, noting that the system will handle equipment stored in caches or inventories. “It’s automatic,” they said, promising a seamless experience.

Diablo 4’s seventh season is off to a promising start. The addition of the Armory is a clear win for fans, who say the developers are listening to their community and delivering what they want. Season 7 looks set to streamline the gameplay and keep the action fast-paced.
